A Dutch pilot didn’t show up when he had to be in the cockpit; about an half an hour before the flight would begin. They became worried and reported it and the corpse was found not much later. The pilot had commited suicide in a parking.
It is tragical, but it is very dangerous indeed. With my previous sentence I ment that we know he had big mental problems so big that he commited suicide. We are very lucky that he killed himself in the parking of the airport and not crashed the airplane such as the Germanwings flight which Andreas lubeas crashed in the French Alps. This event shows that the mental condition of the pilot was very bad and that means that the required mental condition checks have holes in it. Maybe the checks are not up to date enough or they are not carried out correctly. I think we should carry them better out and make these checks more elaborated.
